Text Box: What We Believe
We believe in the equality of all humanity. Every person has a unique personal relationship with God and life experience.  Sharing our beliefs in a peaceful setting leads to a greater understanding and acceptance of each other, and Universal Love. No individualsí beliefs have more weight than any others.  The group belief is equal to the individual, and holds no more value then that of the individual.  It is our inherent right to believe what we believe and accept the right of others to believe differently. We are all connected to the course of nature, and all life forms are but one. We believe that spending time outdoors in nature opens our awareness that we are part of the whole life energy.  This experience inspires contemplation of our existence, and individual spiritual growth without words.  Rhythms and melodies exist in all aspects of nature and act as a reminder of our connection to all that surrounds us.                                                                                                                                                Music is the supreme form of communication, and has been part of all cultures throughout the entire history of humanity.  It is pure because it stems from the spirit, touching us on all levels, consciously, unconsciously, physically and spiritually.  It inspires personal reflection, communal joy and fellowship.  It is a universal language with no boundaries that speaks to us in a way that words with all their different meanings, interpretations, and translation limitations cannot.
Music is a way that God reaches us; we reach each other and in turn reach God.
Music is widely used for communicating and expressing the emotion of joy.
Music is the language of the heart.

Text Box: doing to each other, but it takes itís toll. I see it more and more; an elementary schooler who doesnít understand something so they sayĒ oh Iím so stupid.Ē
I heard somewhere that you should never think or vocalize anything about yourself that you would be mad at someone else for saying. Itís helped quite a few people improve their all around self image. This is something Iíve been thinking about for a few weeks. How can we help our children, or other children close to us? Well I havenít thought of a way to stop the horrible name calling, but Text Box: So many times I look back at times in school when I felt like I wasnít up to par with the other kids. Itís been a while since I was in school and it still floats into my mind every once and awhile; the memory of someone calling me stupid. I know stupid is not what I am, but when people say things enough times they can seem more and more true to both those saying and hearing the statement.
A childís time in school and with other children is wonderful but can turn into a battle of hurtful words. They donít know what theyíre Text Box: the one thing I did seriously consider is the amount of time the average parent spends boosting the self esteem of their child. When was the last time you told her/him they were smart. Compliment them on their intelligence as often as possible. The more you reassure them the less room in their heads they will have for putting themselves down.
