Text Box: wonderful accessory to the pond, but only when used properly. So please folks, don’t ruin it for the whole family. Let’s make sure we know what we’re doing and only use it when the lifeguard is around. We appreciate it.
Another new edition is the meditation and yoga station, and the recycling station. We’ll be having morning yoga at 7:30, 9:30, and 10:30am, with a volunteer who’ll get you to bend in ways only Gumby himself could bend. Yoga sessions will be held a little ways up the hill from vendors row next to the meditation station There will be Reiki and a small library and quiet tent area for meditating.
Text Box: We’re gonna be rockin’ and rollin’ with some heavy musicians at the Freedom Fest this year, with Victor Wooten, the master of Funk George Clinton, Jambali Afrika, and a ton more.
It should be the highlight of July for sure with good food, fun and lots of sunshine. Also, as with every event that we have for the adults, there will be an area where the focus is the kids. We’ll be having activities everyday in the morning and afternoon and of course our huge playground is always available.
Check out the new editions that will be up and running by the time the weekend rolls around, like Text Box: at the swimming pond right before you pass the pearly gates into the camp ground. You can’t miss it you drive past it when you go in. It will be on your left. A couple of our volunteers installed a zip-line. If you don’t know what a zip-line is, it’s a line above the water strong enough to hold a person that pulls you high over the water using a pulley system in our case and you slide down the line holding onto the handles until you decide to let go and fall into the water. It’s awesome, but we here at CULM are not responsible for any peoples getting hurt from using it without the supervision of our volunteer lifeguard. The zip-line is a Text Box: Freedom Festival; big bang of the year!
Text Box: Djembe drum classes starting soon!
Text Box:

The CULM family is now proud to say that we are now having djembe drum playing, tuning, and making classes. It will be on Thursdays at 2pm for the group sessions, and if Text Box: you're not available on Thursdays or you’d just prefer private lessons please contact us via email. One of our capable volunteers will get back to you for scheduling an appointment ASAP. We’ll be discussing a wide variety of: drumming techniques, Text Box: styles of tuning, and uses of natural skins verses synthetic. We’re glad to have the opportunity to have such able people with us that have a passion for teaching. Please come and take advantage of this awesome experience.
